Reception

Attendees of MLA 2011 are invited to a reception on Friday evening from 5:30-7:30 in the Solmssen Court on the campus of the University of the Arts, a short fifteen-minute walk from the Loews Hotel. Light hors d'œuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served. (A drink ticket will be included in your registration materials. A limited number of additional tickets will be distributed at the reception.) Please remember that you must show your conference nametag to be admitted to the reception. A Philadelphia Trolley Works shuttle (capacity 40 people) will be operating between the hotel and the reception site between 5:30 and 7:30.
