AirPhiladelphia International Airport (PHL) is located seven miles from downtown Philadelphia. You may travel from the airport to the hotel by regional rail or taxi. From the airport on SEPTAThe most convenient way to travel from the airport to the hotel is via the SEPTA Airport train, which operates from 5:25 AM until 11:25 PM daily, with trains leaving every 30 minutes to Market East station ($7 each way). After landing, you will walk through a concourse toward baggage claim. Along the way, you will pass over the train tracks, and there will be an escalator leading down to the train platform. If you already have your baggage, hop on the next train. If you have baggage to pick up, continue down the concourse to the escalator leading down to the baggage claim level, pick up your baggage, then return to the concourse and walk back toward the terminal to the escalator leading down to the SEPTA train platform. From the Market East station, exit in the direction of the Convention Center and follow the signs to Market Street. (Note: escalators are available for the trip up but not down. There is an elevator if you need one.) When you exit onto Market Street, the Loews Hotel will be to your right, at the intersection of Market and 12th Street. (See the map below.)
